Description
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses slides consist of two sets of color photographic slides documenting the Tournament of Roses Parade (also known as the Rose Parade) for the years 1959 and 1961. Each set contains approximately seventy 35mm mounted slides. Drewry Photocolor Corporation, based in Glendale, California, produced the slides. Each slide is captioned with a description of the image and branded "TreasureTone Travel Slides." The Tournament of Roses is an annual parade that is followed by the Rose Bowl Game, held mostly along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California on New Year's Day.
