Description
Published Illustrations by Victor Lindquist (SAFR 17224, HDC 317) contains one book titled "U.S. Customs and Kindred Services
(1916)." The book is a tribute to the U.S. Customs Service in San Francisco. It was created by the San Francisco Customs Service
for their colleagues. It contains cartoons, photographs (mostly of ships and employees), histories, stories, poems, and a
listing of importers/exporters in San Francisco. Some of the illustrations are by Victor Lindquist. The volume is inscribed
by the author: "To Dr. Trotter. In remembrance of many pleasant days on old Meiggs Wharf. Compliments of Vic Lindquist. U.S.
Customs Service, 1929." There is also a folder containing an original and photocopy of pages from the San Francisco Call newspaper
with some of Mr. Lindquist's illustrations. The collection is available for research use without restriction.
