Description
This collection includes correspondence, manuscript drafts, poetry, royalties statements, clippings, fanzines, books, and a piece of framed art. Materials largely pertain to Carol Carr with some materials related to her second husband: Terry Carr.
Background
Carol Carr (1938-2021) grew up in New York, where she became interested in science fiction fandom in the 1960s. Her maiden name was Carol Newmark and she was married three times: Jack Stuart, Terry Carr (from 1961 until his death in 1987), and Robert Lichtman (from 2000 until her death in 2021). She and Terry Carr moved to Berkeley, CA in the early 1970s.
