The collection contains materials produced by and related to the Student Government Association (SGA) at Pepperdine. Items
in the series include the SGA constitution, meeting minutes, photographs, event fliers, surveys sent to students regarding
campus issues, and the minutes of the SGA's President's Advisory Council. Materials in the collection range from 1967 to 1997.
Background
The Student Government Association (SGA) is a student organization at Pepperdine which consists of students elected by their
peers to serve on the executive board or as a class officer, director, or chair. The students act as a representative for
the student body bringing their thoughts and concerns to the university administrators and working together to find resolutions.
The association also organizes social events for students and is in charge of keeping track of which student organizations
paint the Rock on campus.
