Description
The collection consists of a photograph album created by Riverside resident Esther Ramsdale in 1925. The album most notably documents Ramsdale's experience as one of the first graduates of the Riverside Community Hospital School for Nurses, as a part of the five member Class of 1925. In addition to photographs depicting Ramsdale and her fellow nursing students at home and in training, the album also includes a humorous handwritten "Last Will and Testament" of the senior class, and a list of functions for the Class of 1925. Also included in the collection are photographs of Ramsdale's family and trips taken to various locations around Southern California, postcards, and Ramsdale's obituary.
