Mark E. Ouderkirk was an artist and museum professional. This collection includes 24 photograph albums containing photographs dated from the early 1900s to 1940s. Ouderkirk collected vintage photographs that he believed depicted queer people, with a particular focus on gay men, and assembled them into albums that tell an imagined narrative of the lives of queer people in the early 20th century. The collection also includes an audiocassette recording of Paul Monette's commencement address at SUNY Oswego.
