    Biographical / Historical

    Christopher Isherwood (1904-1986) was a British American author and screenwriter. Born in England, he emigrated to the United States in 1939 and became a naturalized American citizen in 1946.

    Scope and Contents

    Two letters and four postcards to writer and editor Selden Rodman, discussing writing and publishing, and possible contributions to Common Sense, a magazine founded by Rodman. Letters are undated; postcards are dated 1939, 1942, and 1951. All items are fire damaged around the edges, with minimal loss of content.
