    Abstract: The Paul E. Hagen research materials on the Oakland Estuary, circa 1920's-2000, bulk 1950-1980 (SAFR 23839, HDC 1403) is comprised primarily of data sheets, clippings, notes and photographs of vessels residing in the Oakland Estuary. In addition there are photographs, clippings and notes on shipyards and maritime organizations. The collection has been processed to the collection level and is open for use without restriction.

    Paul E. Hagen was born in Alameda, California on January 14, 1921. His parents were Sigurd and Petra Hagen. He was a researcher of the Oakland Estuary and was active from 1950-2000.
