Sargent requesting Tracy's presence at a speech at a Republican ratificaion meeting; a handwritten copy of a letter from F. P. Tracy to Abraham Lincoln (August 10, 1860) and a response acknowledging receipt by Lincoln's private secretary, John G. Nicolay; a fragment of a letter by F. P. Tracy. Includes some photographic copies in print and negative form. Negatives separated for cold storage.
