Description
Scenic photographic views, printed in color, of landscapes, urban locations and everyday life, taken throughout the American West. Other regions in the United States and abroad are also represented.
Background
In 1897 William Henry Jackson sold his photographic inventory to the Detroit Photographic Co. In 1898 he became president of the firm. In the early 1900s the enterprise changed its name to Detroit Publishing Co.

approximately 360 photographs in 1 box and 1 oversize folder : color photolithographs ; sheets 17 x 101 cm or smaller
