Scope and content:

The collection consists of a binder containing information on the company, followed by design specifications, descriptions, and photographs of the types of boats the company is offering.

Biographical / historical:

Westport Shipyard was established in 1964 in Westport, Washington. The business was originally intended to supply services for the local commercial fleet, but expanded into construction, building first commercial vessels and passenger ferries and then pleasure craft. Westport is currently the largest private yacht builder in North America.
