Scope and Contents

The records primarily comprise those compiled by Charles Stewart as co-chair of the International Association of Black and White Men Together, 1982-1983, and as a member of the Black and White Men Together Los Angeles chapter, 1981-1984. Biographical / Historical

Charles Stewart was elected to a one year term as co-chair of the International Associaion of Black and White Men Together in 1982. He has been a member of the Steering Committee for the Black and White Men Together Los Angeles chapter, secretary of the Gay and Lesbian Police Advisory Task Force, vice-president of the board of directors of the National Gay Archives, and chairman of the Community Support Committee of Christopher Street West.

Biographical / Historical

Douglas Noble was the national representative for the Black and White Men Together Los Angeles chapter starting in 1985. He served on the National Association’s board of directors from 1989-2006 and in 2008 won the NABWMT Lifetime Achievement Award.

Biographical / Historical

Paul Cloutier served as treasurer or co-chair of the National Association of Black and White Men Together from 1997-2004. Cloutier received the NABWMT Lifetime Achievement Award for 2010. Ken Pavlick was a longtime member of Black and White Men Together. Jerry Boyle was a member of the Black and White Men Together San Francisco Bay Area chapter from 1981-1991.
