Description
Marcy Miranda was a graduate student at UCSB doing a case study of a Chicana feminist organization for her MA thesis in Sociology,
focusing on the leaders of the Los Angeles-based Comisión Femenil Mexicana Nacional (CFMN). Her primary interest was to re-construct
the Comisión's history through written records and articles and then through oral history interviews. This small collection
is limited to one box and focuses on the oral interviews conducted in 1996. The collection features transcripts of interviews
and the audio files for the interviews are available upon request. There are also a few subject files relating to CFMN.
