Background
Clark Gable (1901-1960) was an American actor active from 1931 to 1960. Gable starred in such films as
MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY (1935) and GONE WITH THE WIND (1939). He was nominated for three Academy Awards and
won in the best actor category for IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT (1934).
