Consists primarily of Wiebe's student papers at Fuller Theological Seminary and the University of Iowa (mostly course notes and research papers), and material prepared for courses he taught at Tabor College and Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary. It also includes one folder of notes and correspondence relating to the issue of foot washing, ca. 1943-1944; one sermon manuscript, 1971; one sound tape recording of a sermon broadcast on the Haven of Rest radio program, 1971; and the program from Wiebe's funeral, 1971.

Orlando H. Wiebe was born 3 July 1919 at Langham, Saskatchewan. He graduated with a B.A. from Tabor College (Hillsboro, Kan.) in 1948. Wiebe went on to graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary (B.D., 1952), and the University of Iowa (Ph.D., 1965). His doctoral dissertation was entitled "Johann Arndt: Precursor of Pietism." Most of Wiebe's career was as a teacher. He taught at Meade (Kan.) Bible Academy (1942-1949), Grace Bible Institute (Omaha, Neb.; 1956-1960), Tabor College (1963-1968), and Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary (Fresno, Calif.; 1968-1971). Though he was primarily a teacher, Wiebe also served as a minister in various Mennonite and Baptist congregations in Saskatchewan, Kansas, Nebraska, and California.
