    Scope and Content of Collection

    This album is a wealth of beautiful black and white photographs dating from Jan. 30, 1938 through Apr. 11, 1938 depicting snow fighting with rotary snow plows to hand digging out of the snow. Includes photos of snow formations created by the wind and also being plowed. Locations include Emigrant Gap, Crystal Lake, Yuba Pass, Cisco, Butte Canyon, Soda Springs, Norden, and Truckee.
