    Scope and Content of Collection

    Scripts, treatments, and synopses of 103 screen titles produced during the 1920s - 1960s relating to the Hollywood career of producer/director, writer Fred Guiol or Fred Gill. Among the scripts included are shooting scripts of 50 silent movies, six Laurel and Hardy silent films, "Giant", and the 1959 film "Diary of Anne Frank". The collection also includes the Fred Guiol screenplays and a small number of paperback books on which the films were based.
