UCLA's Medical and Dental Student Store opened in 1966 to better fulfill the needs of students at the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, replacing the smaller Medical Students' Store. Books, supplies, dental kits, and sundries were for sale. The store was planned and operated by Robert D. Maxwell and Ray Senecal.
