Biographical / historical:

Harold Alton Snyder (August 26, 1900-December 23, 1968) was born in Seattle, Washington. He served as a crewmember aboard H.F. ALEXANDER (built 1914; passenger vessel) in the early 1920s. He had two children, son Gary (1930- ) and daughter Anthea (1932-2002).

This collection was transferred and accessioned from the library to the museum and archival collections in 2016. Originally received from Thea Snyder Lowry, daughter of Harold Alton Snyder, in 1998.
