Abstract: The collection consists of approximately 125 photographic postcards mostly from Mexico, sent to various members of the Brinkmann
family from 1905-1920. The postcards depict landscapes, buildings, and people from multiple parts of the country, most notably
Veracruz, Yucatán, and the State of Mexico.
Languages: The content of the postcards is mostly written in German, with postcard captions in Spanish, French, and English.

Collection Scope and Contents
The collection consists of approximately 125 photographic postcards, mainly from Mexico, sent to various members of the Brinkmann
family from 1905-1920, most notably Else and Edith Brinkmann. Postcards were sent to Hanover (Germany), Mexico City, and Riverside,
California, and are written in German.
The postcards are in both color and black and white and color, and depict landscapes, buildings, and people from multiple
parts of the country, most notably Veracruz, Yucatán, and the State of Mexico. There are also a small number of postcards
from other countries, including France, Spain, and Cuba.
