The Richard J. Gehman Collection consists of meeting minutes of the Africa Inland Church and Theological Advisory Group as well as their topically associated publications. Topics focus on doctrinal theology within African contexts. Dates range from 1974-2008. Content is written in the English, Kiswahili, Kikamba, and Kalenjin languages.

Reverend Dr. Richard Gehman participated with the Africa Inland Mission, a division of the Africa Inland Church, in Kenya. He served as a missionary for 36 years. Gehman received a Master of Divinity from Gordon Divinity School and a Doctor of Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Gehman wrote “Essential Africa Inland Church History: Birth and Growth 1895-2015”, Oasis International, (2022).
