    Biography/Administrative History

    Darius Kinsey was the most important photographer of logging operations in the Pacific Northwest between 1890 and 1945. His photos and negatives are held by the University of Washington.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    This album contains 8 x 10 sepia toned photographs taken by Darius R. Kinsey of railroad and logging operations in Washington state. There are thirty-eight photographs, which also include a Native American portrait, a family member and some photos of produce. There is a nice photo of a Port Townsend Southern Pacific passenger train as an unidentified depot. Album 23]
