    Scope and Contents

    The Women's Suffrage Movement Materials Collection (1901-1990, undated) consists of pamphlets, magazines, surveys, an article, a speech, an essay, a flyer, a typed letter, and a short story relating to the Women's Suffrage Movement. The letter, flyer, and pamplets were created by pro-suffrage organizations, such as the New York State Woman Suffrage Party, the New York State Womans Suffrage Association, the Buffalo Political Equality Club, the California Federation of Women's Clubs, the Equal Suffrage League of Richmond, VA, and the National American Woman Suffrage Association. Magazines include "The Outlook" and "Equal Rights", and within the collection there is also an essay written by former United States Senator from Massachusetts, George F. Hoar.
