Abstract: The collection consists of the business ledger of the West India Plantations, a company founded and ran in part by Frederick
O. Popenoe, to import, grow and sell agricultural goods including date palms. Materials in the ledger cover the business records
from the entirety of the Pasadena, California based company's existence from 1912-1917 and include their Articles of Incorporation,
bylaws, meeting minutes, resolutions, accounting records, and shareholder information.
