Description
Materials dealing with the planning, promotion and reception of Earth Day 1990, an international event, coordinated from Stanford, California. Contents include: press releases, newspaper clippings, lists of international participants and contacts, newsletters ("Earthline" and "International Update"), citizens guides, fact sheets, and other informational literature on events and issues; also included are documentation and correspondence from International partners detailing global Earth Day events and initiatives; curriculum materials and guides for K-12 schools; assorted photographs; and a copy of A Collection of Voices: The Dawn of Global Awareness as expressed in the Letters to Earth Day 1990, compiled by Peter Wright.
