Description
G. Eric Bradford served as Professor of Animal Science at the University of California, Davis from 1957-1993. His Papers contain
records for the sheep flocks at UC Davis and the Hopland Field Station, his publications, travel diaries, and subject files
relating to his research on sheep breeding and genetics.
Background
Gordon Eric Bradford was born in Kingsey, Quebec on November 2, 1929. He received a BSc degree in Agriculture (1951) from
MacDonald College of McGill University, and an MS (1952) and PhD (1956) in Genetics and Animal Husbandry at the University
of Wisconsin.
