The J. Kim Bauriedel Collection was donated to the Stanford Archive of Recorded Sound by J.
Kim Bauriedel in 2011 and 2022.

The collection consists of educational and promotional video materials pertaining to
prostate health, sound recordings, and documents relating to the use of audio recordings and
phonographs in the practice of medicine, with some focus on urology. Specific content
captured on the sound recordings within the collection also include physician continuing
education, recordings made for patients' use, medical sounds derived from sonograms and
other devices, and songs about medicine.
