The collection consists of photographs and correspondence documenting an event held in honor of David B. Goodstein, one day after his 48th birthday, June 7, 1980. Participants included Willie Brown, Joel Wachs, Peter Frisch, Jim Foster, Joan Holmes, Rob Eichberg, Jerry Berg, Del Martin, and Phyllis Lyon among others. The photographer is not identified.

Biographical / historical:

David B. Goodstein was a longtime publisher of the Advocate.
