    Abstract: David William Faupel (1944- ) was president of the Society for Pentecostal Studies in 1992 and its Executive Secretary from 1996 to 2000. Faupel’s "The American Pentecostal Movement" (1972) was one of the first efforts to define the historiographical and bibliographical parameters of this burgeoning movement. This archival collection contains correspondence, research notes, subject files, tracts, pamphlets and ephemera on the Pentecostal, Holiness and Keswick traditions, sermons, and reports. It also includes the personal biographical papers of David William Faupel. The Faupel book collection, separated to the Hubbard Library collections, contains many rare items documenting Pentecostalism in particular as well as America Evangelicalism in general.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    This archival collection contains correspondence, research notes, subject files, tracts, pamphlets and ephemera on the Pentecostal, Holiness and Keswick traditions, sermons, and reports. It also includes the personal biographical papers of David William Faupel. The Faupel book collection, separated to the Hubbard Library collections, contains many rare items documenting Pentecostalism in particular as well as America Evangelicalism in general. The collection is organized into two sections, the Main collection and the ‘G’ collection, according to the original order in which the material was received. Except for minor changes the original classification has been preserved.
