Includes copies of the Protective Restrictions for Palos Verdes Estates and abbreviated versions and full bound restriction books. Booklets, in particular the Master Book of PV Restrictions (folders 1-4), heavily annotated by Charles H. Cheney.

Booklets and brochures outline goals of restrictions and include "to preserve the fine view of ocean, mountains and parks; to increase, with the years, the wonderful natural beauty of the property, enhanced with fine planting; and that every purchaser in Palos Verdes Estates may be sure when building his home there that his neighbor will have to build an equally attractive type of building." Also includes details for set backs, types of construction, fences, easements, architectural types, limitations on occupancy and ownership, powers of the Homes Association, approval procedures for construction, zoning, districts, accessory buildings, plantings, bylaws and operations of the Palos Verdes Homes Association, etc.
