This series contains materials generated through Chao's professional activities with governmental and intergovernmental organizations, academic institutions, professional organizations, and through editorships and consulting work. Also included are his preparatory materials for his system of General Chinese. Materials include correspondence, notes, reports, meeting minutes, bylaws, and invoices.
