This series contains notes, manuscripts, typescripts, revisions, proofs, and editorial and publication correspondence for most of Chao's major works and a large selection of his articles and lectures. Also included are reprints of his articles, which he retained, numbered, and lightly annotated.
Also of interest are his Green Letters, a series of published letters detailing the Chao family exploits and sent to friends and colleagues, which can be found in Subseries 7.1 (Personal materials).
