Six-page typewritten booklet containing captions for the photographs in the album. The booklet has blue paper covers with a gold foil Fotocelere Coloniale sticker adhered to the upper right corner of the front cover and a faint wet stamp on the back cover: Reg. [___] [_____] / Fotocelere Coloniale / Riproduzione vietata. The booklet is housed in a recycled gray envelope that was adhered to the album's front paste-down at a date significantly later than the compilation date of the album, as evidenced by its postmark: Pittsburgh, PA, 1971 December 16. The envelope is addressed to a Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schneider in Wintersville (Ohio?).

Scope and Content Note

A cut-down peacock blue envelope adhered to the back paste-down contains 20 small deckle-edged snapshots of scenery and local life including roads, street scenes, and markets taken by an amateur photographer. Annotations on the verso indicate the names of friends depicted, including Dick Bellamy, brother of English actor George Bellamy. Other annotations indicate areas where the party hunted near the Ethiopian border. Also included are village, street, and market scenes.

Titles are from the annotations on the versos when present. The versos are variously numbered 7, 8, or 12, but the meaning of the numbers is unclear.
