Scope and content:

The collection consists of production files (budgets, contracts, correspondence, scripts, continuity photographs) for television mini-series and movies produced by Tamara Asseyev. The mini-series and movies represented in the collection include "After the Promise" (1987), "Beryl Markham: Shadow on the Sun" (1988), "Happily Ever After" (1978), "Hijacking of the Achille Lauro" (1989), "Murder by Moonlight" (1989), and "Penalty Phase" (1986).

Biographical / historical:

A 1965 graduate of Marymount College (which merged with Loyola University to become Loyola Marymount University), Tamara Asseyev (b. 1943) is a film and television producer who has been instrumental in the development of a number of properties, including "Norma Rae" (1979) and "Silkwood" (1983). She is also a best-selling author.
