Background

Scope and content:

The World War II Survivors Oral History Project Collection includes 29 oral history interviews with individuals who lived in Europe during World War II. Interviews were conducted and transcribed by students enrolled in English 473 during the fall semester of 2001. At the end of the semester, the project was transferred to the Urban Archives Center from the Department of English by Professor Elizabeth Kessler.

The collection is divided into two series, Audio Recordings (2001) and Transcripts (2001). Interviews are recorded onto audiocassettes.
