Scope and content:

Series III. Projects includes hundreds of documents related to every project Smith produced, organized or participated in, such as the production of artworks; exhibitions she curated or participated in; graphic design projects; lectures; symposia she organized or participated in; travels; grant and funding, and residencies. Documents as varied as photos, sketches, notes, drawings, receipts, and correspondence are to be found. The project files originally organized by Smith have been interfiled together with what was called "support materials," another series documenting various projects, whose documents were of an analogous kind to the ones found in the project files. Documents originally pertaining to the support material section have been marked as "support material" in each folder.

Exhibition announcements such as postcards, leaflets, posters, press releases and small publications were also found separate, and have been interfiled within the series and marked as "announcement" in each folder. The same process has been applied to what was called the "ephemera" section, whose materials were of the same nature as the announcement section.

Large rolled items such as drawings, charts, diagrams and storyboards related to the organization of workshops or complex performative events were also housed separately, and have been interfiled within this series.
