This Series includes the materials related to the Hughes Stadium venue. This venue opened in 1928 and is still operational today. It is located at 3835 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822. The venue is outdoors, arena-sized and has a capacity of 23,000 people. The venue is owned by the city of Sacramento. Well known bands/artists that have played here include Doobie Brothers, Santana, Gamma, Rick Springfield, Rod Stewart, Faces, Loggins and Messina, Peter Frampton, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Hour Glass, Spirit, Sunshine Company, Hamilton Street Car, Breed, Chuck Berry, and the Eagles. The Series is arranged by poster size and materials are in English. 1967-1988
