Description
A collection of material related to the English illustrator and author Aubrey Beardsley.
Background
Aubrey Vincent Beardsley (1872-1898) was an English illustrator and author closely associated with the Aesthetic movement; he also contributed to the developement of Art Nouveau with his illustrations and posters. Beardsley had only a six year career before his early death, at the age of 25, from tuberculosis.
