These scrapbooks contain photographs, newspaper clippings, ephemera, railroad documents, envelopes, tickets, magazine articles, flyers, train orders, postcards and waybills.

These albums were prepared by Linwood H. Moody, a noted Maine railroad historian and agent at Brooks, Maine, on the Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad.

Album 90 most of the album consists of 3 x 5 color and black-and-white photographs of the B&ML engines, cars, and trains. Album 91 contains newspaper clippings that recount the history of the B&ML. There are clippings about operations in the 1960s and 1970s. Other material includes an employee timetabl, an equipment roster and a financial report. There is an artistic company-prepared map of the railroad. There is a railfan history of the railroad prepared by the Railroad Enthusiasts in conjunction with a 1961 fan trip and another in 1964.

The Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad is a 33-mile standard gauge tourist railroad owned by the City of Belfast, Maine.
