    Biographical / Historical

    Robert Radnitz (1924-2010) was an American motion picture producer, whose career began as a script consultant. He went on to produce many film adaptations of children's literary works.

    Scope and Contents

    This collection includes the production records of American motion picture producer Robert Radnitz (1924-2010). Materials include production and research files for film projects, administrative and budgeting records, posters, film reels of trailers and television promotional spots, clippings of reviews, and various realia associated with Radnitz's career. Major film projects represented in this collection include Island of the Blue Dolphins (1964), Sounder (1972), and My Side of the Mountain (1969). Project files for unproduced films are also represented in the collection.
