Acquisition Information
This collection forms part of the American Radio Archives (ARA), which documents the early history of broadcasting, with an
emphasis on California. The ARA was formerly housed at the Thousand Oaks Public Library and was owned and administered by
the Thousand Oaks Library Foundation. It was transferred to the UCSB Library in 2021.
Scope and Content
The Norman Corwin Papers contain about 361.5 linear feet of material pertaining to the career and Life of Norman Corwin between
the 1935-2000s. In this collection there are correspondence, scrapbook, radio and television scripts, motion picture screenplays,
sound recordings, video recordings, photographs, business records and contracts, press clippings and various ephemera.
