    Scope and Contents

    Collection consists of published silent film music belonging to pianist Olive King Lindsay. A piano score for Ben-Hur (1925), and a violin score for Phantom of the Opera (1925) are included along with a photograph of Olive King Lindsay and her daughter Inez Todd Lindsay.

    Biographical / Historical

    Olive King Lindsay (1885-1976) was a pianist who was selected to play the Ben-Hur soundtrack for screenings in theaters around Utah. Olive's brother-in-law (name unknown) would often play violin for The Star Theatre.
