Scope and content:

Robert Starkey (aka "The Truth Fairy").is a writer, activist, and fonder of Smokefree Revolution. This collection contains records of Starkey's anti-tobacco activism, including his personal correspondence as well as materials from Smoke Free Revolution materials, Gay and Lesbian Association of Non-Smokers (GLANS) and ETS Story Project. Also in the collection are drawings, notes, and letters, inlcuding Robert Starkey's coming out letters (1974); personal photographs, including some with Robert Frank Villacari, Starkey's partner who died in 1995; and a scrapbook featuring photos, newspaper clippings, and ephemera.

Acquisition information:
Gift of Robert W. Starkey on March 9, 2011 with later additions.
