This collection contains television scripts, treatments, production files, correspondence, and videotapes and 16mm prints of the work of American television director Walter Grauman (1922-2015). Some of the programs represented are The Untouchables (1959-1963), Matinee Theatre (1955-1958), Murder, she wrote (1984-1996), The Blue Light (1966), and Felony Squad (1966-1967).

Biographical / historical:

Walter Grauman (1922-2015) was an American stage, film, and television director active during the late 1950s through the early 1990s. He is best known for directing episodes of television programs, and TV movies for NBC and CBS such as The Fugitive (1963), The Untouchables (1959-1963), and Murder, she wrote (1984-1996). Grauman also brought his stage directing expertise to NBC's live television drama Matinee Theatre (1955-1958).
