The Wilna Neher photograph collection, 1890-1906, (SAFR 24820, P77-021) is comprised of photographs of ABBY PALMER (built 1893; bark, 4m) and VINCENNES (built 1900; bark, 3m) as well as waterfront views at Sydney Australia, and Honolulu, Hawaii. The collection has been processed to the Item level and is open for use.

Contains 10 black-and-white copy negatives of waterfront scenes and vessels, 1890-1906. Includes photographs of ABBY PALMER (built 1893; bark, 4m) damaged from a collision and a storm; VINCENNES (built 1900; bark, 3m) aground; and various views of the waterfronts at Sydney Australia, and Honolulu, Hawaii.

In 1977, Wilna Neher loaned 3 photographic prints and 1 photograph album to the San Francisco Maritime Museum. SFMM made 10 copy negatives (the original paperwork states that 9 copy negatives were made, but 10 were found at the time of processing in 2016) which were assigned item numbers according to a classification scheme developed by the museum.

SAFR-00001 is a blanket accession that was transferred from the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) to the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park in September 1988. GGNRA had previously acquired the collection from the San Francisco Maritime Museum when it became a unit of the National Park Service in 1977.

GOGA-00789 was transferred from the J. Porter Shaw Library to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) in February 1985.
