This small collection of material deals with the people, land, and commerce of Los Angeles and San Diego, California. There is also material from Santa Barbara and a few other cities throughout Southern California. There are three pieces related to Pío Pico. The collection is comprised of correspondence, documents, receipts, invoices, and a few poems.
