    The Converse Ranch School was in Adams Canyon, near Santa Paula on the Ling Dooley ranch. It was begun by Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Converse in 1930. 17 children were enrolled in that first year. It was a private school

    Collection consists of an autobiography by a student at the Ranch school, some school items, such as play announcements and programs, and severall newsclippings about the school and events, and photos of the children playing
