Description
The IUPLR was formally established in 1983 as a national consortium of university-based centers devoted to developing and promoting Latino scholarship. As of 2019, it has twenty-four member institutions dedicated to interdisciplinary research about, and of interest to, the Latino population in the United States. The collection contains administrative records from the first thirty years of the organization's history. It includes directors' files, financial records, personnel files, and grant documentation. There are also publications produced under the group's auspices, as well as a variety of research material.
