Scope and content:

This series comprises materials collected by Joan Ariel as the UC Irvine Women's Studies librarian and documents the development and activities of Women's Studies program at UC Irvine during the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The majority of the materials relate directly to Ariel's participation in the UC Irvine Women's Studies program as instructor, administrator, and librarian. This series includes teaching files, organizational and administrative records, reports, photographs, and correspondence.
