Scope and content:

This series consists of the documents of the San Francisco County Nurses Association (SFCNA), later the San Francisco Nurses Association (SFNA). It includes bylaws; board of directors materials including minutes, agendas, manuals and correspondence; convention and annual meeting materials; committee, section, and special interest group minutes and other documents; legislative correspondence, and a variety of financial documents.

The earliest document in this subseries is from 1907. There are scattered, mostly financial, documents from the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s. Most of the materials are from the 1950s through 1975, with later materials focused on the reorganization and regionalization process.
